Located on the NE coastline of the island of Zakynthos, 15km from the capital of the same name, Alykes and Alikanas are two enticing beaches, adjacent to each other, occupying an area of approximately 3 km in length. The golden sands slide very gently into the crystal clear waters, which makes the beaches ideal for families with children. The waters are always clean owing to northern winds and sea currents. These beaches are far from any cumbersome industrial development, however they feature tourist facilities which have adjusted well to the natural environment without compromising the demands for comfort.
